The remote control also has a screen that will automatically turn off after 10 seconds. The power-off memory function is a convenient feature that allows the remote control to remember the fan's operating parameters before it was turned off. When you turn the fan back on, it will automatically resume with the previous settings. The light brightness will also return to its original state of 100%. This universal ceiling fan remote control is easy to install with only 5 wires needing to be connected. It is compatible with most 110V 3-speed AC ceiling fans and works with dimmable LED and incandescent bulbs. Other types of LED and CFL lights will only support the on/off function and are not dimmable. This remote is suitable for most downrod fans but please note it is only compatible with AC ceiling fan lights and not suitable for DC ceiling fan lights.
